Zixiao Jolene Wang

Welcome! My name is Zixiao [/tsʰɨ́.ɕjɑʊ̯/] Jolene Wang. I am a 2nd year Ph.D. student at Harvard University, co-advised by James Robins, Rajarshi Mukherjee and Andrea Rotnitzky.

Previously, I received my M.S. in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University advised by Ilya Shpitser and Hongkai Ji, and my B.S. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University advised by Lin Liu and Hongyu Zhao.

Research Topics

My research lies at the intersection of statistical inference, reinforcement learning, and automated theorem proving. I focus on developing frameworks for integrating formal & informal reasoning and on understanding how agents can engage in open-ended mathematical discovery.
